Me and my family went to Disney and Universal. We started with Universal and went on a lot of rides.
We did the Hulk, the Velocicoaster (but my parents would too scared to go on that one), and so much more! We started with The Hulk ride first and then we did King Kong which was really fun. We finally did the Velocicoaster and went to Diagon Alley. In Diagon Alley, we didn’t get to do Hagrid’s Motorbike but we did do Harry Potter and the Battle at the ministry. That one is where you sit in a four-person seat and you’re floating off the ground. When the ride actually starts, you go high, and back, and forth through different adventures as if you’re flying on a broomstick with Harry and his friends. After that, we decided to do a cool down ride and not a scary one called Flight of the Hippogriff. It’s a mini roller coaster and really great if you like to chill and relax. After this we decided to get some lunch and then maybe go back and re-ride some rides. We ate lunch and just took a break from all the walking but when we were done I decided I wanted to go on the Hulk again because it’s my favorite ride at Universal. After I did it once more, I had to do it again and again and again and again!! I loved it because we had Express lane (It’s a faster lane but it costs extra) and I got to go over and over and over again. At the end of it, I did the Hulk about 6 times.
Trip to Disney
At Disney, we started out at Animal Kingdom on my favorite ride. Well it was when we started the day but eventually I found a better ride that I hope we can go on again. We started out with the Avatar ride. It’s virtual reality and it’s like you’re flying on the back of a banshee. Banshee’s are the animals that the Avatars ride on. They can fly and soar. You go many places in this ride such as the water, forests, caves and so much more!! I love this ride because it’s so fun and good for everyone. After this, we did the DINOSAUR ride and it’s this ride where you’re basically in a cart and you go back in time to save one type of dinosaur. Along the way, you encounter many dinosaurs and you go really fast. I loved this ride because it was new and my first time going on it so there were a lot of surprises. The last ride we did altogether at Animal Kingdom was the Everest ride. It was so fun and it was amazing! I loved it because it was a rollercoaster and I love rollercoasters in general. This ride is perfect for rollercoaster lovers but the Hulk, I personally think is scarier. Me and Milan then ended the day with the river rapids ride. It’s a ride where you get wet and you’re on the rapids. Thankfully we didn’t get too wet but we were pretty wet.
After Animal Kingdom, we went to Epcot. In Epcot, we ate some food and didn’t go on any rides. We did get into the Virtual Queue for the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride. Our really close friends said it was super fun and worth it to wait for a long time. The virtual queue is this thing that you can only get in if you’re at Epcot. It basically gave you a number and then a time and then you can come back to Epcot at that time, get in line and then wait for a long time and get on the ride. But the thing is, you have to get onto the virtual queue before everyone else. They only let a few thousand people get the virtual queue. So we were very lucky to get into the virtual queue.
After that we took the train back to Magic Kingdom and went on rides there. At Magic Kingdom, we went on the Barnstormer because we’ve gone at that ride since I was 3 years old and every time we go on that ride and we didn’t break that tradition this year. We also did Space Mountain, which is really fun. It’s really dark and you just go through this dark indoor rollercoaster. Another ride we did was Tron. It was this really, really fun ride where you’re on your stomach on a motorcycle. It’s super fun because you’re laying down and you start really slow and then blast off into the world. After this, you go indoors to this dark place where you go through speed blasts to make you faster. It’s really fun because I like to go super fast but I wish it went even faster. You didn’t go upside down but you did go on your side which was a little, tiny bit scary. We also did Thunder Mountain which we all really enjoyed. It was a super fun rollercoaster and it went fast for sure.
Finally, it was about to be our turn to go on the Guardians of the Galaxy ride. I’m not going to describe the wait but I will describe Epcot at night. It was super crowded because there was a party for all the people who participated in the Disney Marathon. The Epcot ball looked amazing at night and whenever a Disney song played, the light would change and glow up different colors for the song. Before we got on the Guardians ride, we decided to do the Mission to Mars ride. This ride is where you’re sitting and it’s like a ride to show you how you would feel in space. It was okay. I got a little nauseous and lost my appetite but some people may love the ride.
Finally, we got on the Guardians of the Galaxy ride. It started out really slow and I was like, we waited 1 hour in line for this! I got really mad when suddenly it got fast. We zoomed off and Rocket was talking to us. It was AMAZING!!!!! Even better than Avatar Flight of Passage. When we ended, I got off and couldn’t stop smiling for the rest of the day. It was the best way to end the day!!
